Task Management

Learn how Supplios tracks supplier and internal tasks to keep work on track.

As a system of action, Supplios is designed to keep work on track and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. To do this, Supplios has robust task management features that allow you to assign, track, and manage tasks for both internal users and suppliers.

Tasks are a core part of any workflow in Supplios. Whenever a workflow step requires action from an internal user or supplier, a task is created and assigned to the relevant party. Tasks can be assigned to specific users or groups of users, and can have due dates, custom notification and reminder rules, and contain related instructions or information.

Internal users and suppliers can easily view their assigned tasks in a personalized task list directly on their main dashboard. This provides visibility into what needs to be done and when. Task lists are also sent to users on configurable schedules via email, so they can stay on top of their work without needing to log into the platform.

Tasks are automatically updated and marked as completed when the relevant workflow step is completed, ensuring that task status is always accurate and up-to-date. This helps to keep work on track and ensures that everyone has visibility into the status of their tasks and the overall workflow.

The settings for each task (assignees, deadlines, reminders, etc.) are highly configurable, allowing you to set up the task management in a way that best fits your team's needs and processes. These details can also be defined based on dynamic rules, such as "set the deadline for this supplier corrective action response to 3 days, unless the issue is marked as high-severity, in which case set the deadline to 1 day and send a reminder after 12 hours."
